Is there a free trial?

Yes. NoveMD includes a 30-day full-featured trial. After the trial, documents remain available to open, view and export; editing requires a valid licence.

Do I need an internet connection to use it?

No. Once activated, NoveMD works fully offline. Internet is only needed for initial activation and when you choose to unbind a device.

How many devices can I use with one license?

A single license can be bound to up to two devices. If you need to switch devices, we recommend unbinding the old device first.

What if I change computers?

Unbind the device on your old computer, then you can activate the same license on your new computer. Unbinding requires internet verification.

What export formats are supported?

Export to TXT, PDF, Word DOCX, styled/plain HTML, LaTeX/TeX, presentation HTML, PowerPoint PPTX, and offline reading packages.

Is Mermaid supported?

Yes, NoveMD has native support for Mermaid flowcharts and diagrams.

Is LaTeX supported?

Yes, inline and block LaTeX math formulas are supported. Some advanced TeX conversion features may require Pandoc, which users can install optionally.

What import formats are supported?

NoveMD supports importing DOCX (Word), PDF, HWP/HWPX/HWPML (Korean), and more.

How do I purchase internationally?

Use the Buy now button on the international pricing page to open NoveMD's secure Waffo Pancake checkout. It is a one-time USD purchase with no subscription or automatic renewal.

What about the "Unknown Publisher" warning on Windows?

The current installer has not yet been commercially code-signed for Windows, so SmartScreen may show an "Unknown Publisher" warning. You can click "More info" and then "Run anyway" to proceed. We are working on obtaining code signing.

What happens after the trial?

After 30 days, your documents remain available to open, read and export. Editing resumes after a valid licence is activated.

Which systems are supported?

NoveMD 2.0.12 supports 64-bit editions of Windows 10 and Windows 11 on Intel or AMD processors. Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 32-bit Windows, macOS and Linux are not supported. Windows on ARM has not been formally validated. Use the trial to confirm your fonts and export workflow before purchasing.
