1. Operator and acceptance

NoveMD is operated by Xudong Wang, an individual developer based in Tianshui, Gansu, China. These Terms govern the NoveMD desktop software, its 30-day trial, purchase, digital licence delivery, activation and use.

By purchasing, activating or continuing to use NoveMD, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy at https://buer.store/privacy. If you do not agree, do not purchase, activate or continue using NoveMD.

2. Product and trial

NoveMD is a local-first desktop Markdown editor with editing, preview, presentation and multi-format import and export features. It is not a subscription and has no automatic renewal.

NoveMD includes a 30-day full-featured trial so you can assess compatibility, features, interface and export results before purchasing. Attempts to reset, bypass or manipulate the trial or activation system are not permitted. After the trial, documents remain available to open, view and export; editing requires a valid licence.

3. One-time purchase, payment and delivery

A paid licence is a one-time purchase of a digital product. The price, currency and applicable taxes are those displayed for your sales region on https://buer.store and at Waffo Pancake checkout. The total is shown before confirmation. There is no automatic renewal or recurring charge.

China-region and Global payments are processed by Waffo Pancake. After server-side payment confirmation, the initial delivery uses the secure claim flow on the purchase page. Email is an optional future recovery or redundant-delivery channel, not a prerequisite for initial delivery. You are responsible for providing a correct purchaser email and safeguarding the order and licence information.

4. Perpetual licence

Subject to these Terms, each purchase grants the licence holder a perpetual, limited, non-exclusive and non-resalable right to use NoveMD on up to two devices. Voluntary device deactivation requires an internet connection and releases one device slot.

“Perpetual” describes the duration of the licence. It does not promise indefinite support, compatibility with every future operating system or every future major version unless expressly stated at purchase.

5. Licence restrictions

Except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you may not:

  • distribute, rent, lease, sublicense or resell the software or licence;
  • share or publish a redemption or activation code;
  • bypass licence, trial, activation or security controls;
  • reverse engineer or modify the software for unauthorised distribution;
  • use the software unlawfully or infringe third-party rights.

6. Your documents and third-party resources

You retain ownership of documents and other content you create or open with NoveMD. You are responsible for save locations, appropriate backups and reviewing exports before relying on or distributing them.

Documents may refer to third-party images, links, fonts or other resources. Their availability, content and privacy practices remain the responsibility of the relevant third party.

7. Activation, privacy and payment security

Licence activation and device deactivation process the limited information described at https://buer.store/privacy. Payment-card data are processed by Waffo Pancake; NoveMD does not receive or store complete card numbers.

Purchasers must protect their purchaser email, order information and licence code. Report suspected unauthorised use or payment promptly to annunziata.mansker@gmail.com.

8. Refunds and billing disputes

Refund eligibility and the request process are described at https://buer.store/refund. That policy does not exclude any refund, repair, replacement, price-reduction or withdrawal right that applicable consumer law does not permit you to waive.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, duplicated or unauthorised, first email the order number, purchaser email and explanation to annunziata.mansker@gmail.com. We normally acknowledge the request within two business days and aim to complete an initial investigation within five business days. The time for an approved refund to appear is controlled by Waffo Pancake, payment networks and the card issuer.

9. Compatibility and updates

Behaviour and exports may vary with the operating system, fonts, external applications, document structure and third-party formats. Use the trial to test your workflow and review exports before publication.

Updates may fix faults, improve compatibility, add features or address security issues. Unless stated at purchase, these Terms do not guarantee that every future version or feature is free.

10. Mandatory consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or replaces rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the consumer law that applies to you. NoveMD is provided with the care required by applicable law, but uninterrupted or error-free operation and compatibility with every file, device, font, application or future operating system are not promised.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xudong Wang is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and total liability connected with a purchase will not exceed the amount you actually paid for that licence. Nothing limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

11. Termination, governing law and disputes

You may stop using NoveMD at any time. A licence obtained fraudulently, shared unlawfully, refunded, charged back or used to bypass activation controls may be suspended or revoked.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Before formal proceedings, the parties should first try to resolve a dispute through annunziata.mansker@gmail.com. Any unresolved dispute may be brought before a court having jurisdiction under applicable law.

12. Changes and contact

These Terms may be updated for future purchases or reasonable legal, security and product changes. Material changes will be announced through the website or another appropriate method at least 14 days before taking effect. Changes do not remove mandatory consumer rights already acquired.
